Shelter Animals of the Week: Aflack and Pinky

      Shelter Animals of the Week

It’s no secret we love animals here at Rocket Matter. Collectively, we have given many dogs, cats, bunnies, a turtle, a bird, and even a boa constrictor a home. However, we know not all animals are so lucky. Millions of loving creatures are living in shelters, often lacking attention, love, and care. That’s why we want to help get the word out about shelter animals each week.
      This week’s shelter pets:
Aflack, a young male Samoyed/Shepherd mix available at HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team).

Here’s what  HART  has to say about Aflack:
My name is Aflack, and I’m a lot cuter than that silly goose on TV. I’m a two year old, 45ish pound, Shepherd/Samoyed mix who was found as a stray in Kentucky and brought to a nearby shelter. Not much is known about me yet except I’m a complete sweetheart and get along well with other doggies. I have a couple of shaved spots on my back and tail end from where I was matted but no worries, the fur will grow back. I don’t mind it so much with all this hot weather we’re having!
If you would like to meet me, please fill out an online adoption application at www.rescueahart.org. I can’t wait to meet you!
HART also has tons of kittens available, such as Pinky, an irresistible domestic shorthair kitten. Here’s what they have to say about her:

This little girl is super sweet, she was born to a feral momma but has been hand raised since 3 weeks old along with her siblings. She has lots of energy and loves playing with her siblings. She is very playful & very lovable.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Please complete an online Cat Adoption Application so we can put you in touch with this feline’s foster family so you can meet.
