Shelter Animals of the Week: Bob Dylan and Flower
It’s no secret we love animals here at Rocket Matter. Collectively, we have given many dogs, cats, bunnies, a turtle, a bird, and even a boa constrictor a home. However, we know not all animals are so lucky. Millions of loving creatures are living in shelters, often lacking attention, love, and care. That’s why we want to help get the word out about shelter pets each week.
This week’s shelter pets:
Bob Dylan, a domestic short-haired kitten available at Best Friends Animal Society in Salt Lake City.
Not to be outdone in the ear department, there’s also Flower, a Chihuahua mix available at Animal House in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Here’s what the website has to say about this pretty girl:
Flower is a three year old Chihuahua mix who was recently found stray locally in Fort Collins prior to her transfer to Animal House. She is a shy girl who needs a patient and adult-only home to help her come out of her shell. Flower is a sweet heart and loves to sit in laps once she gets comfortable with you! She likes yummy treats and soft snuggles. Flower would love to be your next lap dog and will thrive in a home ready to help her build confidence.
