Rocket Matter, the leading cloud-based legal practice management software, today announces a complete integration with Office 365, Microsoft’s hot cloud productivity suite.
The company will showcase their exciting new functionality at ABA TECHSHOW, this week in Chicago. The following video demonstrates the Rocket Matter Office 365 Integration in action:
The transition to Microsoft’s new platform is nothing short of remarkable. Driven by a low monthly fee and very powerful functionality, Office 365 is set to exceed 100 million users and is quickly becoming the new standard in general business applications.
The move to the cloud is not limited to Office. As law firms jettison older and clunkier desktop software for practice management and time and billing, they’re adopting more affordable and powerful cloud systems like Rocket Matter.
Law firms can use Rocket Matter and Office 365 on nearly every modern platform, including Macs, PCs, Chromebooks, and smartphones.
“This is probably our most helpful and exciting integration so far,” says Larry Port, CEO of Rocket Matter. “Microsoft has done an incredible job giving us the flexibility to work with their systems, and we took full advantage to make a great, easy experience for our users.”
Here are some of the things you can do with the Rocket Matter Office 365 Integration:
Upload your emails from Outlook on a Mac or PC directly into a matter. You can also add billable time and, if you’d like, import your attachments as well. This is an extremely helpful way to organize all of the information in your matters.
Track your calendars as you normally do in Outlook and sync them effortlessly with Rocket Matter. This integration allows you to to keep track of your calendar events inside your matters. And for hourly billers, your Rocket Matter calendar appointments can be funneled automatically to your invoices. No time capture needed!
Now you can leverage our bidirectional contact sync so that your Rocket Matter account has all of the contacts that you have in Outlook, and vice versa.
You can upload your documents directly to Rocket Matter from within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can also bill for the time you work on your files.
Leverage Full Document Versioning
To allow lawyers to work collaboratively with the Rocket Matter 365 Integration, any documents uploaded from Office are versioned. This feature alone is a significant improvement in Rocket Matter’s document storage and organization capabilities.
