What Company Should I Look at for Email Marketing?
“What company should I look at for email marketing?”
If you’re sending out emails as part of your marketing campaign, that’s good. If you’re not, you need to start doing this and start thinking about this because this is a big deal.
Email marketing should be some of the most important days of your month for your firm or for your business. The reason I say this is because a well-designed email marketing campaign will direct people back to your website. The more people to your website means more people filling out your contact forms.
More people filling out your contact forms means more business development, so you shouldn’t be doing this on your own because you can be blacklisted if you’re sending to the wrong email addresses or if you are sending too many emails out through your normal email program, and you do not want that to happen.
Email delivery is like a highly complex technical process and there’s a lot of spam out there and a lot of bad actors, so you really have to be careful, and so you should use people that know what they’re doing.
The two biggest ones in the industry are probably Mail Chimp and Constant Contact. We here at Rocket Matter prefer Mad Mimi. We have a partnership with these guys going back a number of years and the reason that we like using them is because their delivery is terrific. The user interface to compose the emails is fantastic and very quick, so we’re able to get our emails composed and out the door very quickly.
No matter what email service provider or ESP you end up choosing, you want to make sure they provide the following things:
      1. You want to make sure that you can import your existing audience so that you can send to the people that you already have in your network.
      2. You want to make sure that they have good delivery rates, so you have to ask around and find out what the standards are and make sure that the service providers that you’re using, like Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, and Mad Mimi all have very good service delivery rates for their emails.
      3. You want to make sure that you can track a lot of information, so you want to make sure that when somebody opens your email, you know. When somebody clicks on a link in your email, you know, so that’s going to really help you in terms of defining your email marketing strategy going forward.
4.the last thing that you might want to look for is advanced features such as email drip campaigns which email people at specified automated intervals.
