Clarie Law Offices, P.A., is a 13 member firm located in South Pasadena, Florida. The boutique law firm specializes in Wills, Trusts, Estates, Probate Litigation, Adoptions and Family Law.

“Generating the final invoices is so much faster than in our previous practice billing system that we are probably spending half the time we used to here,” Steve notes.
Close integration with the firm’s Google Apps accounts was a huge plus: “Wherever we go and from any device, changes in schedule via Google’s Calendar show up concurrently in Rocket Matter.”

“Relatedly, the free iPhone and iPad apps are extremely useful for referencing the firm’s clients and matters while on the go. And the ability to directly enter billable time or expenses via these apps while traveling away from the office is another huge time-saver,” Steve adds.

Another feature that impressed was the efficiency in capturing time and linking billable hours to matters. “While logged into Rocket Matter with a built-in on-screen timer running, attorneys can return a client’s phone call, type conversational notes into a text box, capture the exact amount of time spent talking, and click “bill” to save the entry as a new billable item,” says Steve. “Our billable time has likely increased by as much as a third, and discrepancies in billing have greatly been reduced.”
“Productivity has doubled,” Steve concludes. “The lag time between data entry and being ready to bill has practically disappeared. We spend less time generating invoices for the clients, which has contributed to our overall productivity and increased our collections by 25 percent.”
