Wednesday Wisdom: Use Advanced Search to Create Custom Client Reports

Rocket Matter’s newest release, Boldly Go, included an advanced search option that will take your reporting and organization to the next level. The new Galactic Interdimensional Search capabilities allows for customized searches to be created and stored so that you can capture and measure every dimension of your practice.

You may have already noticed that the search bar now lets you search by clients, contacts, matters, or tags and activities (essentially everything else). Below this newly designed search bar is an additional tool, “Search Options.” Selecting this takes you to the advanced search area.

There are many new tools that can be utilized in the Advanced Search feature. Over the next few weeks, our Wednesday Wisdom posts will highlight each one. Today’s is  client centric reporting.

Client centric reports can be gathered by the date the client was created, client name, or simply all existing clients in the system.

The report generates every dimension of client centric data: their trust account, what is pending to be invoiced, and the number of open and closed matters. All of this can be exported so that the information can be utilized for business purposes.

Lastly, your search customizations can be saved so that as you explore other dimensions of your practice, you can always come back to the ever-important client data.
