Wednesday Wisdom: How to Easily Change your Firm’s Information on your Invoices

With Rocket Matter’s invoice template options, merge fields are used to easily pull all the firm and matter information into the correct locations within the invoice. With the use of these merge fields, it’s quite simple to change any firm contact information without having to manually edit the template within Word.
Rocket Matter’s invoice template pulls your firm information directly from your firm’s contact page. Changing it on the invoice is as easy as editing a contact!

Step 1

Navigate to your firm’s contact page by searching your firm’s name in the Global Intelligence Search bar or through Contacts in the Navigation Panel.

Step 2

Click on ‘Edit’ in the Manage section under the Navigation Panel on the right to change any information for your firm.

Step 3

Enter any information you would like to appear on the invoice and click OK to save any changes.

Step 4

Feel free to run a pre-bill to check any changes you have made and view how it will appear on the invoice.
