Wednesday Wisdom: Automatically Email Calendar Invites To Clients

It is always important to keep an open communication with clients about law firm calendar events and information regarding their matters. Rocket Matter makes this super easy, and automatic with its ICS notifications.
ICS the type of file that gets created when an event is exported outside of the calendaring application. ICS stands for internet calendar subscription. When opened, this file will be automatically added to your default calendar.
Rocket Matter’s ICS notifications automatically email your client with the event file when they are added as an attendee to the event. To enable this feature, go to the Admin section and click ‘Enable ICS Notifications’.


Once this is enabled, any contact stored in Rocket Matter can be added as an attendee to a calendar event.

When added as an attendee, the contact will automatically receive an email notifying them of the event.

Then, the contact can open the event file, and it will be automatically added to their default calendaring application.
