Need to search through thousands of documents to find a client’s information? With Rocket Matter’s tagging feature, all of your client and case information can be found with just a few strokes of the keyboard.
Rocket Matter’s tags can be applied to documents, matters, contacts, calendar events and notes. Any tag can be searched in the search bar at the top of every page in the application. This makes organizing your information easy, efficient, and fast.
We recommend coming up with a tagging scheme for your firm to help build an effective organizing strategy. Tags will auto-populate when you begin typing to make it easier for all users to adhere to.
Let’s take a look at a few of ways we can use this great organization tool.
For documents, instead of sifting through folders trying to find just one document pertaining to a matter, you can apply a tag to quickly bring up that document from any where in the application. To add a tag to a document, you just click the pencil icon next to any uploaded document and add a tag on the right-hand side.
Tagging a calendar event is just as easy. When you are adding the event, you can add a tag in the bottom right-hand corner.
Now, searching this tag will bring up any item that it has been assigned to. This will also allow you to contextually link different types of data. For instance, you can tag a calendar event and document using the same keyword. So, if you need a document for your event, you can quickly grab it.
Tagging will provide your firm with an organizational structure that is easy to follow and will make your practice more efficient in the long run.
