About the Speaker:
Since 1988, lawyer Gary Kinder has taught other lawyers around the country how to make their writing clear, concise, and compelling. His in-house clientele includes: Jones Day, WilmerHale, Sidley, Skadden, Bingham, Dorsey, Drinker, Littler, Perkins, and Microsoft. Lawyers frequently evaluate his one-day seminar, Writing Techniques for Winning Cases, as the best CLE they have ever attended.
He is also the author of three books of narrative nonfiction, including the critically-acclaimed New York Times bestseller, Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea. For the American Bar Association, he has created writing webinars and a series of three, one-hour, online, interactive CLEs, Advanced Writing for Lawyers.
In 2011, Gary received his sixth patent for editing software and founded the software company “WordRake.” The company is devoted to helping lawyers write clearly and concisely and WordRake has been adopted in over a thousand law firms, government agencies, and universities.
