After downloading the app, users are prompted to sign in using their West LegalEd credentials or they can simply create a free account. Once logged in, users are given one free CLE course and can purchase additional programs, which range in price. These programs are then downloaded to your iPad and can be played at any time.

When programs are completed, users can then press the “Submit for Credit” button and receive a link to obtain a “Certificate of Completion,” which can be submitted to your bar association to receive CLE credit.

Depending on the state, the completion of CLE credits is required for attorneys to maintain their license.

Let’s use Florida as an example. Attorneys who practice in Florida are required to complete 30 hours of CLE credit over a three-year period. Five of those hours must be in the area of ethics, professionalism, substance abuse, or mental illness awareness. With the use of CLE Mobile, these credits can be completed from the comfort of your home and office.

Since each state has its own rules and requirements in regard to what qualifies for CLE credit, we recommend contacting your state bar association for specific questions about their CLE rules.

Stop waiting until the last minute and complete your CLE credits on the go with CLE Mobile!
