iPad App: iJuror – Jury Selection at Your Fingertips

    Contents

Gone are the days of using sticky notes and legal pads to assist with voir dire and jury selection. Now from the convenience of your iPad, attorneys are able to track their jury pools and organize notes throughout a trial by downloading iJuror.

iJuror is a jury selection app that helps attorneys select from a jury pool by maintaining juror information and responses during the jury selection process.

The app itself is very easy and intuitive to use. After installing, the home page provides users with the options of either tapping Change Preferences, New Trial, Saved Trial and Stats.

The Change Preferences page allows users to adjust the layout of the apps background but more importantly, users will be able to select whether they would like for their latest trial to automatically populate on the home page every time the app is opened.

On the new trial page, users are prompted to enter the name of the trial, the start date and the number of jurors and alternates that will be chosen. Once that information is entered, users are able to tap on a seat, which represents a juror, and enter key demographic information, including their age, race and sex.

From there, an avatar will populate to reflect the demographics of your jurors and additional information can be entered regarding responses and evaluations.

The app also enables users to share information pertaining to a trial by email or Bluetooth to another iJuror user.

iJuror is available on the App Store for $24.99 with no additional in-app costs.

If you are ready to make the jury selection process less stressful, iJuror may be worth the try.
