App of the Week: Angry Birds Star Wars in a Galaxy…

I’m not much of a gamer, but with quick downloads to my phone, I’ve breezed through many of the prior Angry Birds editions.

Now Rovio, the entertainment media company behind the phenomenon that is Angry Birds takes us to a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, where a group of desperate rebel birds faces off against a galactic menace: the Empire’s evil Pigtroopers!

The iPhone app which costs all of 99 cents will grant you many, many hours of fun and engaging gameplay with more than 80 levels to conquer! Use lightsabers, Blasters and Jedi powers to wreak havoc on the Imperial Pigs. I’ve only just started and it’s a lot of fun.

Supported mobile and desktop platforms include iPhones and iPads, Android devices, Macs, PCs, Windows 8 and the Kindle Fire.

So take a break, get your geek on and have some fun, but be warned, it can get addictive so Friday late afternoon might be a good time to download the game.
