      Jeff Shavitz is an Advisory Board Member and Strategic Consultant at LexCharge. Prior to his involvement with LexCharge, Jeff Shavitz worked for more than a decade in the payments industry after a brief stint in the investment banking industry. In 2002, he co-founded Charge Card Systems, Inc., (CCS) a national credit card processing company based in Boca Raton, FL. In 2012, he sold CCS to Card Connect, owned by FTV Capital, a private equity firm rolling up merchant processing companies in the space. CCS was their largest acquisition to date, and Jeff served as a consultant to the business. In 2016, Card Connect went public with a $430 million valuation. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and studied finance at the London School of Economics.
