Rocket Matter Releases Billing Date Enhancements

In our continuing effort to make Rocket Matter the best online legal software for law firms, we rolled out a highly requested product enhancement. Rocket Matter users now have the option to customize the billing date for any billable activity, including Dropbox and Evernote documents.

For example, when recording billable time for emails, you now have the option to set your preferred billing date for the invoice. This feature also allows you to set future billing dates for items such as tasks, calendar events, etc.

For your reporting needs, we added a “billable date” column on the billable activities page, allowing you to see both when an item was created and when it was billed.

We added the ability to bill for Dropbox and Evernote documents!

You can now click on the billing icon to the right of all your documents to add billable time.

Since Dropbox, Evernote, and emails can now be billed, we’ve given you more control over each billable activity. When items such an emails and documents have billable time attached, you can tell if the item has been invoiced, is pending invoice, or simply has a billing date set.
Billing date enhancements are now in advanced builds and will be available for everyone in 7 to 10 days.
