Wednesday Wisdom: 5 Tips On Getting Started With Rocket Matter

Welcome to Rocket Matter, the leading cloud based legal practice management software. Now that it is easier than ever to sign up for Rocket Matter,  we want to make it as easy as possible to get started you with great training tools and friendly live support located right here in our headquarters. Here’s a few tips to help you get started.

1. Bookmark your full Rocket Matter URL on your browser. This URL will include your Rocket Matter company name and will bring you straight to your login portal. An example would be: https://www.rocketmatter.com/xyzcompany. Also, be sure to download the Android or iPhone app to your phone or tablet so that you can use Rocket Matter on the go.
2. Export your calendar, matters, contacts, billing, and any other information you need from your current practice management system and just go ahead and send it right to our support team at support@rocketmatter.com. Our expert product specialists will be happy to review the files and import them into your database so that stress is off your shoulders.
3. Set up your email integration in the Admin section under Manage Users. You will need your server address, email address, and password. If you need help finding this, just give us a call- (888) 432-1529 option 1 for support.

4. Customize your invoice template by downloading it from the Admin section. You can reformat this, add a  logo, change the font, or do just about anything you would like. Of course, our Rocket Matter gurus can assist you every step of the way.

5. Add your first time entry! Now that you have imported all of your matters and clients go ahead and add some time and start using the blazing fast billing features.

Congratulations! You now have iPad legal software, Mac legal software, Droid legal software, and really, anything legal software (with an Internet connection, that is).
