Wednesday Wisdom: Leaving A Phone Message For Another User

Looking for a better, more reliable way for your receptionist or legal assistant to get that important phone message in front of you, in real time? You’re in luck if your firm is using Rocket Matter, because our built-in phone messaging feature will alert you properly every time.
To post a phone message to another user in the firm, follow these simple steps. You can get as detailed as you like:
1. Click on the phone handset icon at the top of your Dashboard.

2. Fill in the appropriate fields in the pop-up window.

3. Clicking on ‘OK’ to complete and the message will sent to the recipient’s dashboard.
When you complete your message, a red alert indicator on the top of the recipient’s dashboard will appear next to the phone, alerting them to the call. Recording message details for another user takes just seconds.
Not only can you set the subject line for the message, but you can complete the message field with a full description of the call. In addition, you can attach the message to a particular matter.
