App of the Week: Mokriya Craigslist – Classifieds on the Go

Craigslist, the online classified behemoth, lets you post and search for jobs, housing, personals, items for sale, services, community, gigs, and more. Some have even blamed it for the demise of newspapers.
Thing is, Craigslist has maintained the same barebones design since 2000 despite getting over 50 billion page views a month. Or, perhaps, because of it. And its mobile site (they haven’t release a native mobile app) is no better.
Many have tried to fill the Craigslist mobile gap, but none quite as beautifully as the Mokriya Craigslist app which officially licenses data from the notoriously closed-off (no API) Craigslist.
With the basic version, you can browse sales, jobs and apartments, and use advanced filters. The full version allows you to post an ad with photo, title and description in less than a minute. You can also save searches or setup alerts to get notified when listings match.
After using the elegant Mokriya Craigslist app, you might never go back to the quirky website.
