App of the Week: SignEasy – Sign Documents On the Go
In my haste to go paperless a few years ago, I proudly got rid of my printer. Shortly after, my action seemed more foolish than proud: I missed it. Though not enough to get a new one. Sure, printing movie passes and airline tickets would be nice, but that’s easily solved by sending tickets to my phone or getting a movie or airline app.
Printing articles to read on the couch, in bed or during a commute? The iPad came along and solved that. But what about when you have to fill out a form, sign it and return to sender? Well, there’s an app for that. Many, many apps. A standout, is SignEasy.
Signing a document with SignEasy is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Import – Import a document from Email, Dropbox, Box, Google Drive™, Evernote and hundreds of other apps with “Open In” functionality
- Sign – Sign and date with your finger or a stylus.
- Send – Email the signed document.
You can then save a copy of the signed document to Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or Evernote. A great feature.
SignEasy, available for Android and iOS devices, is free and and allows you to sign 3 documents every month for free. But like more apps these days, you’ll need to purchase in-app upgrades to sign more documents per month.
