What Makes a Good Email Newsletter?
A good newsletter, first of all, is something that is read and opened by people and drives visitors back to your website. So that’s very important because if done right you newsletter is going to be the most important day of the month in terms of your Internet marketing efforts.
So, one thing is, you need to make sure that you have a good subject line. A good subject line ensures a better open rate, and you can make sure that the subject line is optimized using specific words and lengths of words, and lengths of the entire sentence. And you can use a tool like subjectline.com to verify if the subject line that you’re going to use is going to be successful or not.
The other thing that you need to do is make sure the newsletter has a lot of links in the upper portion. You only have ten seconds for somebody to take a look at it. That’s usually how much they spend if they even glance at your newsletter.
And, if you have interesting links and they’re clicking on them, you’re drawing them back to your website and from there you can do all sorts of interesting things: You can convert them to leads. You can get them involved in digital advertising, remarketing campaigns and amazing stuff.
