Twitter Certified Tools to Help Law Firms Thrive on Social Media

    Contents

Did you know that Twitter has a Certified Products Program where it identifies some of the best tools and services to help businesses thrive on the platform? The program includes engagement, analytics and data products. Here are a few of the more widely used tools that can help law firms better manage their Twitter and other social media efforts.
Sprout Social – Sprout is a social media communication hub that allows businesses to more effectively connect with their audience through social channels. I’ve sat in on demos and webinars from these guys and they’re impressive. Sprout makes it easy for teams to collaborate and publish across multiple social profiles and networks. The platform also provides detailed analytics to track your efforts and progress. Here’s a recent article on their site on How Law Firms Can Use Social Media to Drive Engagement.
Hootsuite – Hootsuite, the leading social relationship platform, lets you manage your social networks from one secure, web-based dashboard. We love Buffer, a great scheduling and analytics tool for solos and small firms but larger firms should consider Hootsuite. It’s a beast. It provides social media dashboards to manage multiple social networks, schedule tweets and messages, track mentions of your firm, clients, and competitors, and analyze social media traffic. Check out an article on their site that came out of a conversation with Rocket Matter’s CEO, Larry Port: The 3 Paths Mid-Sized Law Firms Can Follow to Success on Social Media.
SocialBro – SocialBro’s marketing platform gives businesses powerful tools and data to analyze, grow and engage their audience. It helps firms get to know their audience in-depth and interact efficiently with their contacts, find out the best time to tweet, identify influencers, analyze competitors, and use dashboards to track progress. SocialBro lets you marry your email database with existing Twitter users to create synchronized social and email campaigns.
Storify by Livefyre – Storify by Livefyre is a social storytelling platform that enables companies to integrate Tweets, photos, videos and media from across the web into stories that can be embedded on any website. A big complaint at law firms is finding the time to create online content. Solve that by adding curation to your strategy. Use Storify to find, collect, and share stories of interest on the web.
Simply Measured – Simply Measured makes it easy to get all your social media data in one place and create beautiful reports in Excel, online, and in PowerPoint. Law firm marketing departments must always provide data on how their social media efforts are performing, and there’s nothing better to bring to a meeting than cool spreadsheet, charts, and PowerPoint presentations that break down tiresome numbers into quickly digested information. Here are examples of Twitter and Facebook charts.
Most of these and other social media tools provide collaboration, analytics, presentation, scheduling, and other standard features. Give them a test run and see which is right for you to maximize your Twitter and social media efforts.
